Level 10
Strong, elastic, smooth, reflective cuticle. A balanced scalp with normal shedding.
Level 9-7
Hair shows minor signs of stress. Medium porosity, normal shedding, occasional scalp dryness, and or oiliness.
Level 6-4
Hair has reasonable damage and is noticeably dull. Low elasticity (breaks when wet), high porosity and will be experiencing more than normal shedding.
Levels 3-1
Significant damage due to chemical treatments or no maintenance. No elasticity, hair breaks easily when wet, broken and uneven hair shaft. High porosity (hair ha a difficult time retaining moisture.
